The Typology Exhibition is an annual EXHIBITION that invites designers and artists to investigate a specific typology through the lenses of form, function, materiality, and design identity. Its central aim is to examine how these elements shape and define the objects we create and interact with.

Structured as an open framework rather than a conventional design brief, the exhibition offers a rare space for unrestrained experimentation. In contrast to the everyday constraints of client-driven work—where feedback, utility, and commercial viability often guide the process—participants are encouraged to pursue curiosity, speculation, and creative risk.

Each year, a select group of applicants is commissioned to take part. As a paid opportunity, the exhibition is conceived to reduce external pressures and foster an environment where exploration is prioritized over deliverables, and where critical engagement with typology can unfold freely.
